The CircleIdentity & Grief

You are not one thing. You have parts.

Trauma doesn't heal in isolation — it heals in connection. This circle blends somatic therapy with Internal Family Systems (IFS) for women and LGBTQIA+ people moving through identity shifts and grief — grief in the widest sense: every version of yourself you've had to let go of, even when the change was good, even when you chose it.

For anyone navigating divorce or separation, coming out or another identity shift, grief in the broadest sense, the expat or dual-culture experience, career reinvention, or any chapter that's shaken who you thought you were.

The Approach

It's not by silencing what lives in us that we heal — it's by understanding it.

Over the weeks, I guide you — through meditation and somatic work — toward the parts of yourself that are asking to be met. Not to fix them. To hear them out. Every part has its reasons, and every part has the right to feel what it feels.

These parts don't always agree with each other — one wants to move forward, another wants to be left alone. My role is to guide you toward making room for both, in full presence, until they can finally see each other and start to understand one another.

Circle Spirit

You always choose what to share.

We move at the group's own rhythm, in the listening and the respect of everyone. What's shared here, stays here.

  • Active Listening
  • Circle Sharing
  • Mirror Exercise
  • Full Presence

You leave each session a little more connected to yourself — more aligned with your own values and limits — and a little more open to healing in community.

What We Work With

Threads we keep coming back to.

Over time, this circle has moved through nervous system safety, identity, grief, shame, ancestral patterns, and the beliefs we inherit without choosing — each theme revisited whenever the group needs it, in whatever depth that week calls for.

  • Nervous System Safety
  • Identity in Transition
  • Survival Patterns & Triggers
  • Grief of Old Selves
  • The Body as Teacher
  • Relationships & Growth
  • Rewiring Old Beliefs
  • Legacy & Ancestral Patterns
  • Shame & Shadow
  • Unburdening & Letting Go
  • Holding All of You

Wherever you join, you're never behind — we simply pick up whatever's alive for the group that week.

You're offering alchemy — taking the loss and alchemizing it into purpose, into shaping new identity, with so much compassion and grace.
